YOGA MAMA WELLNESS
Yoga Mama Wellness is a bright, sunny, private yoga studio located in the heart of Putney, south-west London. The studio offers a quiet space in which to practise yoga and Pilates. We are a dedicated team of teachers and therapists and work closely with our partners at The Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy. In order to maintain individual attention, we deliberately keep our classes small, with an average of 8 to 12 students per class. This also allows us to create a sense of community.
We offer a variety of general yoga, Pilates and tai chi classes to suit the needs of everyone. As well as this, we offer rehabilitation classes for those who are carrying injuries or looking to return to exercise. In addition to this, we also run monthly workshops, catering for mind-body well-being.
Yoga Mama Wellness specialises in pregnancy and postnatal services. We run several pregnancy yoga and Pilates classes throughout the week, along with periodical Yoga for Birth Preparation and Hypnobirthing courses for women in the latter stages of pregnancy. As well as this, we also offer postnatal Pilates for women who are looking to return to optimum health after childbirth. Lastly, we also run Mum and Baby Yoga courses, which allow new mothers the chance to practise yoga and share experiences with new found friends.
Yoga Mama Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training School runs Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training courses and Postnatal and Fertility CPD (Continued Personal Development) workshops. These courses and workshops are fully accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals.
Yoga Baba is an independent organic clothing company for babies. In collaboration with a London artist and yogi, we have produced our own unique range of baby clothing made from 100% organic cotton. These feature illustrated prints inspired by yoga and nature.
The Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy is part of London’s largest NHS and Private Medical Treatment Facility. It provides a complete cycle of care, from the treatment of pain and injury rehabilitation to lifestyle changes, preventative exercise and mind-body well-being.
