Leonardo dos Santos, Pilates Teacher

Leonardo Dos Santos Gonçalves is a Pilates teacher at Yoga Mama Wellness. Leo qualified as a Pilates teacher in 2012 and has since gone on to teach Pilates in his native Brazil, Italy and London. He specialises in Mat-based and Reformer Pilates, but is also trained in the Combo Chair, Ladder Barrel, Trapezium and Spine Corrector methods. Leo believes in constant study in order to help clients achieve their well-being goals. For this reason, he also undertook Polestar Pilates training in 2018.

In addition to his Pilates training, Leo is also a qualified Qigong, Tai Chi and Yoga (Vinyasa Flow and Iyengar methods) teacher. He also has training in Traditional Chinese medicine and holds a degree in Physical Education. Apart from Portuguese and English, Leo also has a command of Spanish and Italian.

The Yoga Mama Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training School runs teacher training courses and Postnatal and Fertility CPD (Continued Personal Development) workshops. All courses and workshops are accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals.
